COMPASSION

I had a trip in one of my classes from university to another city about 1 hour away from were I live. The trip was to know a little bit more about my country, history and culture. We visited many museums and had a great time, but there was something in particular that got me thinking alot in our way back home. In lunch time, me and my classmates were searching for a place to eat, while we were walking down the streets, I saw an old man who could barely walk..he was having a hard time trying to take a step, his clothe was so old and he seemed tired. When I saw him, all I could think about was my grandfather, I couldn't even imagine if my grandpa would have been in that same situation with no one near to help him. That broke my heart, so when I came closer to him, I gave him some money and help him to move away from the street. When I helped him, he looked me in the eyes and told me: "my sweet daughter, God bless you." Those words....made my heart break into pieces..and thats when I started thinking how many people need from us...I know that old man didnt need money, he needed love, but I couldn't give him anything else because I was leaving...people need our attention and our time..we need to show them God's love. COMPASSION..such a strong word...people need us, they need Jesus..in a world that has become so hard to live in...they need to know about God's sacrifice, so they can trust Him and depend only from Him. I'm a very sentimental person, so those type of situations make me cry very easily, all my way back home I just couldn't stop thinking about that old man, and just asked God to be with him. I can't imagine how many people all around the world are waiting for someone to give them hope..they need an answer, time and love, and we know only God can give them all they need so let's make sure that we present the salvation plan to all the people around us...GOD BLESS YOU ALL

God is Faithful

As young people we are continually tested in so many ways. Personally, I've been through many tough times this year. How many times we've asked God Why me? One thing I know, it doesnt matter how big your situation or problem may be..God is in control. I've seen God's hand in my life so many times, He has been there with me and I get surprised because when I think I don't have a way out of something POW! my miracle comes. God has given me an amazing family and also friends who have supported me and trust in what I, with the help of God, can do. I LOVE to remember that God is faithful, don't stop believing in Him, great things are coming to your life if you just have a little faith and patience. He will do the work in you. Always remember Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments."
